I’m so grateful that Dr. Montelongo was able to treat my severely dehydrated boyfriend earlier today. He came right to our Air Bnb in Puerto Escondido, brought supplies to treat him with fluids by IV and left him with a prescription and meds. He spoke perfect English and was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough with his explanations. We were also able to pay by credit card and received an invoice to submit to the insurance company for reimbursement. If this little sign wasn’t in our Air BnB I would have had no idea how to find a doctor. Highly recommend this service for Canadians and all travellers in Mexico. Thank you!

Getting sick on holiday is never fun and I was apprehensive about seeking out a doctor after not having much luck at several pharmacies and I was so relieved to be treated by Dr Diego Montelongo. He was very thorough, took his time, checked everything and prescribed excellent treatment that got me better and allowed me to enjoy the rest of my trip. He spoke fantastic English and explained everything with a lot of detail and followed up with me in the following days to see how I was doing. He really put me at ease and I would recommend him to anybody seeking medical advice in Puerto Escondido.

About Medical Conditions & Treatments
Can a yeast infection cause a uti
While a yeast infection and a UTI are distinct conditions, they can be related. A yeast infection is caused by fungi, whereas a UTI is bacterial. However, the irritation from a yeast infection can make it easier for bacteria to enter the urinary tract, potentially causing a UTI. If you’re experiencing symptoms of both, consult a doctor for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

How to get rid of baby acne?
Baby acne typically appears within the first few weeks of life and usually resolves on its own without treatment. Gently cleanse your baby's face with warm water and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser once daily. Avoid scrubbing or using harsh products. Pat the skin dry and avoid applying lotions or oils unless recommended by your pediatrician. Most baby acne clears up within 3-4 months. If the acne is severe, persistent, or you're concerned, consult with our English-speaking pediatric dermatologists in Mexico for professional evaluation and treatment recommendations.
