I am an Ophthalmologist Surgeon with clinical and volunteer practice at the Association to Prevent Blindness in Mexico I.A.P. and private practice at Oftalmología Médica Polanco. My specialty is combined surgery for cataracts and glaucoma, as well as these individually. I am also an expert in the diagnosis of eye diseases such as cataracts, presbyopia (age-related farsightedness), open-angle glaucoma, closed-angle glaucoma, secondary glaucomas due to pseudoexfoliation and pigment dispersion, secondary glaucomas due to lens pathology, congenital glaucoma, and treatment of complex cases secondary to ocular trauma or complications. I have extensive experience operating on patients with ocular problems like yours, with a high volume. I am also involved in surgical education and have published several articles and book chapters both nationally and internationally. In my clinical practice, I am responsible for the day-to-day supervision of ophthalmologists in training and doctors specializing in glaucoma.
