Hi! I'm Dr. Isabel Esparza, I'm a dentist and I completed my Specialization in Orthodontics at the University of Guadalajara. I provide general dentistry services and my practice focuses on Orthodontics and Dentomaxillofacial Orthopedics. I treat children, adolescents, and adults. My intervention with children begins at age 5 for prevention, detection, and intervention of facial or dental development anomalies, often starting with removable, fixed, or extraoral orthodontic appliances. In adolescents, I assess the possibility of skeletal intervention when they have an anomaly in the development of the maxillary bones, depending on the patient's growth stage, and begin correcting existing or developing malocclusions. In patients without remaining growth or adults, treatment focuses on correcting dental malocclusions, as well as facial or skeletal alterations, working together with a Maxillofacial Surgery specialist. I always strive for correct function, harmony, and aesthetics. I also begin intervention in patients of all ages who have bad habits that affect the proper development or position of teeth and/or maxillary bones, such as oral breathing, finger sucking, lip sucking, onychophagia (biting nails), bruxism, among others. My orthodontic treatments are performed with high-quality brackets, both metallic and aesthetic, with conventional and self-ligating bonding. And when required, additional attachments are used such as skeletal anchors with mini-plates or mini-implants, maxillary expanders, distalizers or thrusters. I also have different certifications to offer my patients the option of treatment with transparent aligners, including Invisalign®. All patients are evaluated individually to create a detailed plan that meets each one's specific needs. I am constantly preparing and updating myself by attending national and international courses and congresses. I offer other specialties such as third molar surgery, dental restorations, partial or complete oral rehabilitation, periodontics, endodontics, all performed by excellent specialists who are part of my multidisciplinary team.
