Multiple System Atrophy is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the degeneration of nerve cells in multiple areas of the brain that control movement, blood pressure, and bladder function. This rare disease causes a combination of symptoms including tremors, rigid muscles, difficulty with balance and coordination, and autonomic nervous system dysfunction.
