Pinguecula in Mexico

Pinguecula is a benign growth on the conjunctiva, the clear membrane covering the white part of the eye, typically appearing as a yellowish bump on the side of the cornea. It is commonly caused by sun exposure and aging and usually does not require treatment unless it causes irritation or vision problems.
