Postpartum Thyroiditis in Mexico

Postpartum thyroiditis is an inflammation of the thyroid gland that occurs in women after pregnancy and delivery. It can cause temporary hyperthyroidism followed by hypothyroidism and usually resolves within a few months to a year.
