Viral neurolabyrinthitis is an inflammation of the inner ear and its associated nerves caused by a viral infection, resulting in dizziness, vertigo, hearing loss, and balance problems. It typically follows an upper respiratory viral infection and causes sudden onset of vestibular symptoms.
