Von Gierke's disease in Mexico

Von Gierke's disease is a rare inherited metabolic disorder caused by a deficiency of the enzyme glucose-6-phosphatase, leading to severe hypoglycemia and excessive accumulation of glucose in the liver and kidneys. It is classified as glycogen storage disease type I and requires lifelong management to prevent serious complications.
