My daughter went to the ophthalmologist for the first time some time ago. I specifically asked for a pediatric specialist and they gave me an appointment with a doctor named Contreras Orozco. We arrived for the appointment, we were on time, but the appointment was delayed because this man was still in consultation. We finally got in, and it was a terrible experience. We spent more time getting in than getting out. We only managed to ask the so-called pediatric specialist, who clearly wasn't one, two questions. And he answered with sarcasm and irony. Even if the man had done a good job, who could do a proper examination in 10 or 15 minutes? Obviously, even with glasses, my daughter couldn't see well. We had to wait to find a real pediatric specialist who could examine her thoroughly and finally give her a proper diagnosis. We never went back.

I went to the ophthalmologist because my eye was hurting, burning, and was very red. Doctor Samuel examined it and diagnosed me with conjunctivitis, giving me treatment along with samples to start it, and by the second day I felt the improvement. The pain, burning went away and 80% of the redness in my eye was gone. I'm still continuing with my treatment as it's for 1 month. I'm grateful for Dr. Samuel's empathy and his accurate diagnosis.

Two hours late for the appointment, after driving two hours from Ensenada. In addition to appointments starting very late (mine was at 10:15 AM), patients with appointments after mine were seen first. The consultation lasted five minutes. The reason: suddenly I have double vision in the eye operated on nine years ago (cataracts and trifocal lens). The doctor's diagnosis: "Blurry vision from vitreous detachment; it has nothing to do with the lens we put in or it being decentered from the cornea." Actually, more than blurry vision, I see double with the operated eye. "You need to reduce inflammation with some drops and wait. In a couple of months it will be fine." Additionally, the cashier's treatment is incredibly rude. My memory from years ago was of better treatment and service, both from Doctor Rodríguez and his staff.
